Servicing Lawn Mowers

 

As with any mechanical piece of machinery, it is important to get your lawn mower serviced every once in a while. This is more important if you use a petrol powered lawn mower, whether it is a cylinder lawn mower or a rotary mower, it should ideally be serviced at least once a season to keep it in good order and to ensure it starts (and keeps going) as long is necessary to finish the lawn once you start.

Electric powered lawn mowers are less prone to mechanical failure and providing they are kept clean and the blades sharp should really look after themselves.

With the price of some lawn mowers it can be cheaper to replace than repair, however, if you own a good quality petrol cylinder mower with regular servicing it should last you a lifetime.
